Jughma is built to be private by design. There is no account, no login, and we never learn who you are.

Stays on your device

Your water logs, goals, containers, settings, and your profile (name and gender) are stored only on your device. We never receive or store them. Your name is used solely on your device to personalize greetings, and it never leaves the phone.

Anonymous analytics & crash reports

To understand how the app is used and to fix bugs, Jughma collects anonymous usage analytics and crash/diagnostic reports. This includes which features you use, your progress toward your goal, and error details when something breaks — along with coarse, non-identifying attributes like your chosen goal size, activity level, gender, and app language. It is tied to a random device identifier, never to your name or any account. We do not collect your IP address or location for analytics. We do not use advertising, ad trackers, or sell or share your data. This processing is handled on our behalf by PostHog (analytics) and Sentry (crash reporting).

Reminders

If you enable reminders, an anonymous push token for your device is stored so we can deliver the notifications you asked for. It is not linked to your identity, and disabling notifications stops it.

Device permissions

Motionmakes the on-screen water tilt and slosh with your phone's movement — processed in real time on your device, never stored or transmitted. Notifications deliver the reminders you schedule. The app does not request your location.

Data deletion

Deleting the app removes all of your on-device data. Because analytics are anonymous and not tied to your identity, they cannot be traced back to you. To request deletion of anonymous data or ask any question, email us below.
